Municipal Court

Municipal Court is held on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 pm at Webster Groves Christian Church, 1320 W. Lockwood, Oakland, MO  63122.  Through its Municipal Court Clerk, the City enforces its ordinances.  Contact information for Donna Tharp, Oakland's Municipal Court Clerk is as follows:

As this is a part-time position, all payments need to be mailed to the address listed above or paid the night of court. There is no physical address available to make a payment. All checks should be made payable to the City of Oakland Municipal Court. If you need any information regarding a court case, continuances or for recommendations, please call 314-842-0778 and leave a detailed message for the Court Clerk.  She will return your call within 24 hours.

The City of Kirkwood has been contracted to provide police services to the City of Oakland.  The police issue summonses for traffic and ordinance violations.  A payment envelope is provided with pre-payable fines for certain violations, along with instructions for payment.  Any violation that is not printed on the envelope requires a court appearance.
